First of all, sorry for the late reply. In order to contrib (I need to update the guidelines!) you should have a mef related extension / project that you think others would benifit from. Make sure the code is in somewhat good shape and that the behavior of the code is being covered by unit tests.

The tests helps us when we move to a new version of MEF, to ensure that there hasn't been any breaking changes introduced. It also helps people that might download the source and want to make some modifications but still ensure that they didn't break the original behavior.

A bit of documentation that we can put in the wiki would also be nice or people might not know how to use it.

Have a look at the MefContib solution for ideas on namespaces and how to structure the code (project + test project)
